About Me
I have been cooking since Monday January 4th 1982 8.30am when I started as a first year apprentice chef at the original Mures restaurant in Knopwood street Battery Point. I can tell you it was an eye opener for a country boy from the Huon valley. It was at Mures that i fell in love with Tasmanian seafood and the alien world of working in a professional kitchen. Little did i know at the time that this was to be the start of a long, crazy, exhilarating and at times exasperating but immensely rewarding journey.
